Candace and I will be relocating to Columbus, Ohio at the end of May and are currently up to our elbows in wonderful things that we patently refuse to let make that thousand mile trip with us.

Therefore, a Yard Sale to end all Yard Sales (save maybe one other, smallish sale toward the end of the month) will be taking place this Saturday, ( Read more... )

Sure do. It's green and emphatically unamazing, but it'll be nearly free.

Probably not, but we're counting on local early birds to make off with most of the uninteresting-to-friends crap.

Ah, I was going to say..you could always just kinda make sure all your friends were 1) remotely in the area and 2) still drunk from the night before. Thats the only time I ever see 7am is seeing the ass end of it :)

Hmm... Depending on progress, a smallish shin-dig the night before might not be too bad of an idea...

I'm friends with Ms. Bluestarliz, who pointed me to this post. I'm interested in purchasing a used typewriter from your Yard Sale to End All Yard Sales. Can strangers call dibs? Either way, I'd appreciate the address of said YSTEAYS for typewriter purchasing and general perusal of used goods.

Certainly. There are approximately 2 dozen mechanical typewriters of various makes and models that will be available. You'll probably have your pick of the litter, because these things are terribly difficult to get rid of.

I've collected them for years now, and most of them have been recently serviced (by myself).

The address of the YSTEAYS is 801 B W Hickory St. Fairly easy to find and should be impossible to miss on Saturday.

Showing up early is a sure-fire way to get dibs on some of the best stuff. Heck, show up early enough on Saturday to help set up and you could walk away with a lot. 801 W Hickory.
