Reaching for your wallet, several cigarettes tumble out of the soft-pack that had been inefficiently shoved into a suit pocket. Someday they’ll start making these in a box. The clerk is much more interested in eyeing a family of suspected shop lifters than your transaction, but still manages to round the price off by a penny to save his drawer four. You only brought five dollars with you. Must remember to stop at the ATM and fix everything. The manicure set is placed in that wonderful type of generic and very grateful (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU) grocery bag. Your eye is caught on a rack of keychains as you exit.
