It’s always surprising. There’s an unspoken uniformity in the sort of stuff that finds its way into the Dollar Stores in this town. Among the aisles of familiar and amusing things, your memory reminds you that you needn’t buy more RCA cables, and after briefly considering some kind of counter-intuitive use of mouse-traps, you settle on an atrociously tan faux-leather “Manicure-Set.” Mainly due to the amusing errors in grammar that found their way onto it’s box. The tweezers will be lost by the end of the week, and no nail-file known to man has ever been able to last more than a month with your hands. But it’ll be handy. You’ll put it in your backpack and pull it out at work when the day slows down. You really should take better care of your hands.
