Shh... Politics

 I gotta say, I have never been a fan of McCain and up until 4 weeks ago I didn't know Sarah Palin existed, but I at least respected him as a person. As far as conservatives go he's historically been toward the "moderate" side of the scale. Then he turned into a Bush-y and I lost a little respect for him. It's so strange. About a year ago I was saying "it doesn't matter who wins, any one of the candidates will be better than Bush". But I have to give McCain credit: he scares me more than Bush does.

Way to go, McCain and the GOP. You guys really outdid yourselves this time.

I felt pretty much the same way (well, with the exception of Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney). I honestly did think at first "Okay, McCain is their pick? I think I could at least tolerate that on some level." Boy was I wrong.
