So, working part time means that I get to hear part of the radio show, "Think" on my way to pick J up from daycare.  Today's guest is giving a lecture tonight and has a PBS show coming up on "Women in War."

We had a great visit with my family last week- including meeting the newest member, Aiden. As is to be expected with babies- he is adorable, and he only spent about 3-4 hours not being held by someone from Thursday through Sunday. Yes, there were lines to hold him. It's snowing!!! yay!

Snowfalls always make me feel like a little kid- especially when they are a surprise one like this morning. What a great way to start the day! :)

As insurance companies are the ones who set their own rates, why are they so sure that health care reform will cause rates to rise?  There is no federal regulation of insurance rates (or anti-trust legislation for them, for that matter) so rates rise really when the companies want them to.
