As it's a bit closer to the vinyl experience than Ableton, in terms of being more spontaneous and tactile, etc. You can play with or without the control vinyl (many people seem to have dumped the control vinyl I've noticed).
I think it's also that I hope to get into remixing-producing and would tend to do that live rather than in the studio (should I ever get good enough), and Ableton seems to lend itself well to that.
