Well weather-wise, it's been like having almost no summer at all. I've been feeling a bit depressed, because I get a whole lot of happiness out of warm days, wearing light clothing, and generally making merry outside, which has not been possible. The "light" event Friday night was really nice! All middle-aged folk like me, barefoot and dancing to really good music! That was my biggest fear...that the music wouldn't be "real" because it was "just" an event for people who weren't into drugs or big loud crowded places. It's really cool to be enjoying my job so much now. I've solved the stupid paperwork thing that held everything up for a couple of months and have gotten over my fear of them firing me in the next five minutes, and am really enjoying the work.

Must write a bit about my experience last night. Went to a small Dutch rave called Revolution909, in which the famous analog synth was the focus of the evening.
