Yesterday got pretty awful at the end, but we made it to our beautiful new home. We are getting new cell phones, all of which have GPS, which is pretty spiffy. Not sure how well it works outside Spain, but for a trip it seems fine.

I can think of few things that will make you feel more helpless than what you went through: trying to navigate an unfamiliar city in an unfamiliar language after dark with unmarked streets.

That's funny about the Eqyptian restaurant, though: when Gary and I went to Den Haag we got lost wandering around on foot. We came across a small Egyptian restaurant whose owner was very helpful in giving us directions. He was also very, very pleased when we ordered Egyptian food and swooned over how good it was.
