I look on the Donniecam almost every day to see what the weather is in A'dam... early this morning (here) it was snowing there... much colder than what you've been accustomed to the past few years! I know it gets cold in Spain but not THAT cold.

No small task: "every non-EU person who wants to stay here needs to pass a written, listening, and oral exam in the Dutch language and culture after 3.5 years" Is there an exclusion for children, such as Maya?

I can't wait for pictures of shopping centers and local explorations. Hope you share some soon.

Maya will need no language exemption. At her age, she will learn Dutch practically instantly. And I doubt they'd give a 5 year old a culture exam. ;-)
