So here I am.

I live.

Tonight's dinner attempt was London Broil. I kinda overcooked it a little bit, but on the whole it was very good.

The marinade was red wine, fresh minced garlic, black pepper, italian seasoning, and a little ginger. I think I'm going to marinate it longer next time, as the taste didn't come through quite as strongly as I wanted.

ABC has posted a three page 'news' story about the choice of beer to be served at the 'meeting' between the cop, the professor, and the president.

Either it's a very slow news day or this habit the news stations have gotten into with providing 'expert commentary' on every little thing has gotten just a little bit out of hand.

Bonni, my landlady, has passed away as of 1:13 this morning PDT.

I hope in death she finds the peace she sought in life.

Idiot computer died sometime this morning. Diagnosis indicated PSU, which has now been replaced, save for the need for a molex -> SATA power converter so I can actually run my optical drive ( Read more... )

I've hit 26 now. Once more I am not in a last-minute rush to file my taxes on my birthday.

It's a nice sunny day, and I'm going to take a walk out in the big blue room.
