My friend Fredricka got into a bad accident this past week. Only thing is, I didn't find out from her but from Anu, another friend. She told me that Fredricka had been driving drunk during the daytime with her quasi-bf in the passenger seat. She didn't come off that bad, only with a broken heel but her bf is in a worse condition. Anu had her baby today at about 4ish in the morning....I was at the hospital with her and some friends of hers and her man from 2 in the afternoon yesterday to 8am today....poor girl. Ugh. I sprained my ankle a little while I was running today. I was in a hurry to finish before the school kids came out for recess. Instead of the usual 8 laps in the hot sun, I ended up running 6 1/2 and walking half a lap after that. I just wanted to take this freaking moment to say....I passed all of my classes. Yipee:) 3 out of 4 were credit/no credit prerequisite courses so it's a relief to get that outta the way. Plus the one graded course was the intro to graduate studies. Ugh. I'm so glad to get them out of the way.

For my New Yr's celebration, I'm at home eating ice cream and watching L&W SVU marathon and having a blast. Not feeling up to going out in the cold with thousands of people celebrating. I much prefer the comfortable security of my dwelling:)

Happy New Yr's and I hope ya'll have a good one celebrating and be safe. Live each day as if it was yesterday as the tragic event in Southeast Asia soberly reminds us.
