Be more literate!

It's unrealistic ... but it's worth trying, right? Italicized = not finished, because I have a habit of reading books non-sequentially. Totally ripped off from Moony. ALSO I added some books to "January" I finished the previous December, so I cut off next December.

Oh, I have total confidence that you'll make it. Keep up the way you're going and you'll exceed the quota.

Maybe I should do this thing too just to whip myself into shape - I used to read all the time and now I hardly ever do it anymore. Of course, EiI seems to be getting me back on track. I'm already about 150 pages in, and can't put it down. *grins*

I cheated a bit and added on some books I finished in December :B ... winter break = lots of time to read.

I'm in love with book!Alex. [You can tell a fandom's going to hell when that funky exclamation point thing shows up...]

I just finished today! And, speaking of book!Alex (nothing wrong with the exclamation point thing...)

For the first time in my life, I told my father exactly what I thought, as I will now tell you, for the first time, exactly what I think. As with him, I ask for your forgiveness.
Love, Alex

I read that at around one in the morning last night, so it took a second for it to sink in, and then I was like, "Holy shit, is this a confession I see?"

*raises glass* Here's to book!Alex.

There are no words to describe how happy that made me ... It's probably blatantly obvious, but why do you think he wants Jonathan to forgive him for it? Because Jonathan has difficulty loving people, or for some other reason?

So long as they're original, I guess XD I'm thinking about reading the rest of Annie Proulx's short stories ... she wrote Brokeback Moutain, doncha know.

Brokeback mountain had no sex in the movie, and even less in the story.
I'll stick to the good old fashioned "homoerotica by the cashier of borders." ;3

There's sex in both, just not like ... gratuitous amounts of it. It caused enough controversy without being a pornfest...

You'll probably make it. I'm working on two books right now, and I'm only half-way through each -_-

I'm sure you'll make it, and even if you don't, it's more about just reading *more* than reading the set amount. I'm not sure I'm going to make it, considering the months-long literary drought seasons, immediately followed by binge bouts of reading ... YAY BAD METAPHORS!
I talk ... way too much. Sorry XD;;

I got mine at Borders! I messed up the title, it's "Astonishing," not "Amazing" ...
