Wednesday night went for drinks and pizza for another coworker going away thing. her last day is Thursday and she's my bosses favorite so there will be one more event.
the pizza was hella good even though I'm not always a pesto fan.
last night went to the giants game. sat in the cheap seats which still afford a decent view.

went to giants game. thought that sitting in the club section would thin out the crowd and there'd be less annoying people. I was wrong. but they faded early so after an hour it was ok.
sadly, the game sucked so I got shortcake.

you can run, but...
did the giant's 5k race yesterday. actually ran for part of it. ran with v, as dr. t was doing the half marathon. i sadly, should have trained harder as my initial fast pace quickly waned. still beat my personal record set in the san jose giants 5k, by mere reason of not walking the whole way ( Read more... ) -
i had pupusas for dinner tonight.
they were quite tasty.
earlier we went to the alameda county fair, wherein i had a pulled pork crepe.
other than that, there was dinner at the house of prime rib last week, which was excellent, as always. -

went to north beach fair and walked around a bit downtown. bought new running shoes, as i have actually done two runs over the last three weeks. 5k for san jose giants, and the neon run. did not do any actual running. -
week in review.
last Thursday, went to pier 39 for
locals night. basically a bunch of stuff was half off and parking was free. also, got clam chowder in bread bowl for $.30.
I had two.
Friday, I forget.
Saturday, went to baseball game. got a bit sunburnt. then went and wandered around Chinatown.
Sunday, watched iron man three. which I thought was better than the ( Read more... ) -
plans for this evening.
tonight, I'm going to see the Rolling Stones with my dad. sadly, I will no longer be the youngest person there because we're also taking my niece.
all things must come to an end.

went to my first basketball game in a couple of years.
i think i picked a good one,as i've never been to a series clinching game before.

I'm on a plane waiting for the pilots so this is as good a time as any to recount the last week.
Wednesday. fly to Chicago. it's raining. get to apartment where we're staying. go eat at gastro pub. have excellent venison burger also buffalo wings with blue cheese potato salad. and I don't even like blue cheese.
