So, I actually accomplished my 2010 New Year's Resolution. I did one 5k, one 10k and the 1/2 marathon. And it was glorious! So, since I seem to actually be willing to do this stupid running thing I'm going to continue with it into 2011 ( Read more... )

So I DID IT!!! I completed my first 1/2 Marathon this past Saturday (Dec 4, 2010). 13.1 miles in 3:22:31 for an over all pace of 15:28 min/mile. I felt good the entire route and only cussed on the uphills.

We went bowling last night with Rob and Liz. It was of course fun, but it was also my first try with "real" bowling shoes, not the rentals. And boy are they different! Instead of the entire bottom being slick, its just the toes which took some getting used to. So I survived the Thanksgiving break with my family in E. TN. It was over all a good time, but the present I am working on for Danny for X-mas had some major issues and so my dad is going to be working on correcting it between now and when I head there for the holiday.
