Breaks my heart to see tons of spinach returned from stores and dumped.
I am definitely going to each Fukushima made spinach and dairy products as much as I can

Thanks God it's Friday. Monday is our national holiday^^
A week past after the massive quake. Tokyo is very quiet.  Looks like many foreigners have evacuated from Tokyo.
"Buy out" panic seems to cool down and there are products back on the shelves.
Everyone is hurt and tired but thanks to everyone we are moving ahead.

Due to shortage of power supply, most of the trains/metros operate by 50 - 80% of usual capacity.
My office building cut off the air conditioner system, so it's freezing all day. The temperature will drop tomorrow, so I might be wearing my coat at work ^^;
Tokyo is like a ghost town now.  Food and daily supplies are vanishing from the shelves ( Read more... )

There were no blackouts this morning, but the trains / metros were a mess.
So, I walked to work (60min+)
Surprised to see that many people were walking and riding their bicycles to work (diligent people!).
Bought my lunch on my way at a convenience store.   There were like 70% stocks there.
The streets looked very vacant than usual.
