Today's rant is entitled: Get a Clue, Lane Bryant.
Lane Bryant is a store that caters specifically to fat women. So I ask, why would they make all their dresses with silkly CLINGY material? Does this make sense? Do I need a dress to cling to my middle? NO. But that is ALL they have.

And I totally agree with you on the models. It looks like they tried to make the models bigger, but it all looks so fake - sort of like little heads on slightly bigger bodies.

MIDRIFF tops!
As in, if I wear this, I will bare my midriff.
Now, honestly, there are plus-size women who are comfortable with doing that, and God bless 'em. I only wish I had the confidence to do that.
But personally, my view of the purpose of clothes is to COVER UP my midriff!
And my butt, and my thighs, and my knees, etc.
I just had to wonder -- what on earth made them think that clothes that are popular with stick-thin twelve year olds would look good on my ... ahem ... big bones?
Yagggh! YARRRGH!

I want to see models who are around 5'6" tall, and at LEAST 170 - 180 pounds MINIMUM.
