I used to live near Pella. Cute little town -- they take their Dutch heritage very seriously.
Perhaps you can take comfort in the fact that, by dropping the big bucks on better windows, you aren't just saving money on heating and cooling bills, you're saving energy and therefore being a good environmental citizen. It is Earth Day, after all. :)
Take care of yourself, too; I'd hate to have you back in the hospital again so soon.
It is formally known as the passion flower and is a vining plant which grows wild in this part of the south. The one in the user-pic is the one I use to shade my windows in the summer (growing on a trellis over the opening). It is a highly hybidized form and much fancier than the original. Each bloom lasts only one day and has a very pleasant fragrance. The engineer did not know of the hybrids and was surprised I would want to be careful of a 'weed'. The original plant is a pest in the fields, particularly the cotton fields where it has to be dug out. Once established, it is well nigh impossible to dislodge. I have had sprouts show up in the basement. Heh!
I have a salad planned for tomorrow's lunch. It was too much Vitamin K that got me into this mess. When my hemocrit dropped to 6.4, they took me off coumadin and pumped in K. Then when I had the TIA's, they started heparin and coumadin etc. So I am hoping it will level off soon. Heh!
