I'm happy and sad, worried and relieved,  jealous and accepting.　How can one person be filled with so many contractictory feelings at once, all the time? I'm also drunk. Heh. Patti shiyouze.

Chicago was such a blast. The trip was totally worth getting fired.

I need to find a new job. Preferably not in food service. I've been working in food service for the past 7 years, since I was 14 years old. Job searching time.

First day in Chicago was a blast, spent a lot of time downtown. I realized I haven't ever really spent a bunch of time downtown in a major city before! It was great. I took a lot of pictures.

I might be out of a job! Didn't find anyone to work for me today or tomorrow. Fuck JJs.

How frustrating. Yet again I leave for a trip to Chicago, without yet having a replacement for me at work during the weekend. x_x; It's so frustrating, dealing with people who will say they probably will be able to work and i'll just have to ask them closer to the date, and then turn down my request because of something else that came up. Going to Chicago in four days to celebrate 7-7-7 v2 and Debbie's Birthday, I can't wait. I'll be gone Friday morning to Monday evening, taking the Megabus up there for about 60 bucks. I'll be a little bit more relieved once I find someone to cover me at work for the weekend. I'll work on that tomorrow.

I've been really sleepy lately, and taking naps in the middle of the day. I wonder if it has to do with quitting smoking, or something else? I notice that when I used to smoke, I never had a problem with falling asleep in the car, and usually get really sleepy during the day. Hmm ( Read more... )
