what a freaking great day. Worked 1 of the easiest and best shifts ever at rite aid (for multiple reasons i shant get into) and then went to see hair of the dog at a bar in Saratoga who's name escapes me at the moment. I'd say more but it's 1:40 and in theory i'll be getting up at 8 to play some paintball.

i got a new laptop.

Last night was fun, we(the duty crew) stood around helping and watching the explorers do live burns in the tower. Since many of the older explorers have moved on or up ranks, and theres been a rash of new members, it was the first time for most of them. I can't wait for summer time, for the semester to be over(5.5 weeks and counting) and for EMT to be done with. Still don't know if I want to go down to NYC for a day or not to take the EMT written exam. I don't need the break really, just a change in pace.

So I continue to kick around the idea of joining FDNY someday and how best to do it, one way that I just finally found information about seems easy in some sense, but drawn out instead of direct attempts. I may just end up in school forever. I'll probably get an associates in Accounting and in Paramedic, which will take another 3 years. The only real question is whether or not to do Paramedic first or Accounting. I'm thinking Paramedic. In a strictly academic sense college is about getting from A(where you are after highschool) to B(some kind of career, hopefully based off your studies in college). I know what A and B are for me, I just have no idea how exactly to get there and it's driving me nuts.

So...random update. Apparently on myspace the new rage is to make blogs about yourself and tell 25 or 50 or some absurd amount of little facts about yourself.
