Bachelor party went well, with far less drinking than I'm used to. About all I can say is:

Well, my plane got in at around 1am Alaska time, which despite naps on the plane (which just aren't the same) is about 5am EST. Kent picked me up at the airport, and I crashed at his place. As of June 1st I'm getting a promotion to E-5!

I'll edit this later, after I call my parents first. But lets just say that it's good, but very unexpected news to me. I'm just really hoping that the fallout of this dosn't effect my leave in June, or my overall financial situation.

Okay, leave has finally been aproved, and I bought my tickets last night. I'll be getting into Anchorage at around 11:59pm on 19 June, and leaving the night of 5 July. Trying out a few signatures, mostly because I'm bored at work.

So, no deployment. 4 duty days this month, but at least I shouldn't be away for a while. Still waiting to hear back on my leave request, so Bridget you will get my schedule when I get it back. You'll also get my measurements at the same time. So my only question right now is, can the grooms-men incorporate swords into the ceremony???

Found out about an hour ago that I MIGHT be getting sent to Minnesotta for a deployment on one of our ships, and would be opperating as the sole medic onboard. Dates are from 01 May to 13 June. Not too happy about it, but it hasnt' been finalized yet. I'll keep you all updated.
