Eddie has been in Parris Island for over a month now. My emotions have been all over the place these days. I had high hopes for a phone call on Christmas or even any other day but nothing yet. Eddie went on his way to Paris Island to become a US Marine on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 4:15am. It was a moment in my life that is indescribable. Some vacation.
I have been in Florida with Eddie since Nov. 11th and I will be returning home on the 21st. I really wanted to relax and get in some good quality time with my son before he leaves for the Marines but there is not much relaxing and bonding going. Regardless of what I have been told or preached, I still value my vote. I do not need a winning vote to stick to my beliefs or to feel my thoughts & beliefs are worthy. I still vote for what is right for my country and some day it will all be clear that you do not need a great slogan or more money to win over this countries heart ( Read more... ) -

I am sitting here at work and I am trying to figure out where the last year of my life went. I have been so wrapped up in work that I can not remember stopping to relax or catch up with anything outside work.
