BICO makes everything better, doesn't it? :D As long as I keep getting stuff like that from Glee, I will never stop watching. Though I hope they tone down Britt's stupidity, the implications make me very sad.
The only things I really liked were Kurt and Blaine (akhgjkehgjke!!!! ♥), Grinch!Sue and Beist. The rest? I really didn't care much for at all :/ And I actually skipped through both of Rachel's songs, because to be honest, I'm getting a little tired of her romantic ballads. >_> Also, yes to everything regarding Finn. gtfo already.
BRING US MORE KURT/BLAINE, SANTA MURPHY. Pleaaaaase.
Kurt and Blaine make me *________* like whoa, I can't believe next episode isn't for months. :(( I'm glad I am not alone with my Finn hatred, it's somewhat irrational, but I don't care.
Well, it isn't as bad as I made it sound, they are these mechanical things that he can wear and they move... okay it is as bad as it sounds. But. Have you seen Teenage Dream? Oh Glee, I can never quit you.
In Conclusion: Dan/Blair is imminent, isn't it? :DDD OH HELL TO THE YES! (I didn't expect evil!Lily at all. I found it a bit over-the-top?)
Last Christmas, as cheesy and overplayed as it is, happens to be my absolute favourite Christmas song Mine too!! True story.
ecause Brittany believing in Santa or in a magic comb isn't cute or adorable or anything like that, it's the actual behaviour of a small child. If she has the mental capacity of a small child, then she must have severe learning difficulties, and all the sex she is having becomes terrifyingly problematic. That whole storyline gave the creeps. (And I don't like Artie nor Artie/Brittany.)
I also loved all the Grinch-related shenanigans, they were brilliant. (As soon as Sue presented will with his present, I shrieked 'it's probably something hair-related.' I was right. :D)
Your issues with this ep of Glee are entirely apropos.
Evil Lily was definitely over the top, I would have preferred evil Juliet, I've always been a fan of Lily. And Rufus is so insanely passive these days. :((
Mine too!! True story. Heee, it is just so damn catchy. Laaaaaast Christmas, I gave you my heart... see it's in my head AGAIN!
That whole storyline gave the creeps. (And I don't like Artie nor Artie/Brittany.) Me too, but I thought I was alone, all the reviews/opinions I've seen go on and on about how heart warming it all is, when it's creepy and disturbing. The way Artie treats her is wrong.
Your issues with this ep of Glee are entirely apropos. And yet it's turned into my primary fic reading fandom...
Yes, her selling the company is so out of the blue and unnecessary. She was Chuck's only family, I guess this probably means his mother is coming back.
The rest of the X-mas celebrating world can keep their carols, give me Wham! Hee, so true! Do not want any carols, also love All I Want for Christmas is you.
The imminent Blair/Dan makes me very, very happy. They are so much fun together with they're plotting and bickering and going on road trips together. *hearts*
In a way, how the show is turning Lily into a villain makes me sad. I suppose you could argue that sending a teacher to prison who she believed slept with her underage daughter was done to protect Serena, but selling Bass Industries behind Chuck's back? That was low.
I agree completely, their bickering will never get old, and the fact that behind that animosity they actually have such similar tastes is pretty hilarious and great.
Lily was never going to win the Mother of the Year award, but she used to be genuinely caring. The way she is portrayed seems to imply it's all about her reputation, which really cheapens her awesome moment with the Dean of Columbia. And the teacher thing could have been about Serena's well being, but the way it was handled makes me think it was about keeping everything quiet.
I used to like Lily a lot, before the current season, and it really makes me sad to see how the writers are making her into someone she never appeared to be, before. :/

It's the greatest X-mas song ever, end of story! The rest of the X-mas celebrating world can keep their carols, give me Wham!
Artie has rubbed me wrong since forever; probably since he and Tina had their fling.
Hee, we all have to satisfy our fic-reading needs. No judgment here. :x
