Unsure
I realized this morning that a corduroy pencil skirt I've had since high school fit again. I'm still not sure how I feel about the skirt. It makes my hips look small, but somehow feels like it's not flattering. Maybe I just don't like corduroy. -

Another small, yet big accomplishment
One of the AAs picked up a taramisu for the birthday of one of my co-workers. I sat there for 20 minutes and resisted all pressure to eat it. Including much insistance by other coworkers. I feel good. Now I'm going to go grab an apple and yogurt. -
Blame Game
I hearby blame work for my inability to stick to my diet. Work causes stress which triggers stress-eating. Therefore, I say we ban work.
Seriously though, the fact that I hate my job is not helping. Hoping to change that soon.

This morning an aggressive panhandler from over a year ago was back in front of our office. He goes out between cars and confronts people. Last time, he actually blocked my path into the building until I firmly told him I didn't have any spare change (I had almost gotten by when he was confronting someone else). More thoughts
Here's the thing, I keep swearing I'll do better, then I don't. Or I do, but then I backslide worse than what I gained. And maybe I need to do the sugar challenge again. My last sugar was about 9:30 pm yesterday. Let the counting begin. -
Backslide
I hearby solemnly swear this is my last backslide until Christmas at the earliest (and hopefully not even then). I gained 2.6 lbs last week. Now granted, I was hormonal and weighed in on a Friday afternoon in more clothes than I have been wearing to weigh in lately. However, I also had a terrible week last week. Down 0.2 lbs. Which I'm actually grateful because while last week was not terrible, it was not good either and I really don't want to break 55 lbs repeatedly like I did with 45 lbs and 50 lbs ( Read more... )
