Man, life has been pretty okay lately. They're going to start paying me at my lab site, so that's cool. It's only a stipend, but it's enough that I can pay my rent for the rest of the year with one big payment. I went to a Darkon event with my boyfriend this weekend. For those of you who don't know what that is, consider yourselves lucky. It is basically The World's Nerdiest Thing. Jon and I just bought our tickets to Infinitus! Took us long enough. I'M SO EXCITED. Nimbus was so awesome, I hope it will be like that again. I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, because Nimbus occurred right at the peak of fandom, just after the fifth book came out, and I was in high spirits because I was thoroughly in fandom at the time. Snowpocalypse 2010 Update
So the snow has reached about 36 inches. I'm kind of estimating this, because it's about waist high on me and I'm very tall. I'll be damned if I'm going outside to properly measure that shit.
