Daylight Savings Time
I usually love Daylight Savings time in the fall because I really like to sleep and I get an extra hour. This year however, I was lying on the couch staring at the wall because when you are stuck in bed all day you don't need a lot of sleep. -
Third time's a charm..
With any luck my car is all good again (well except for the routine maintenance I'm trying to put off until my maternity leave). Two weeks ago I took it to Wal-Mart to get a new battery and they said it wasn't the battery, it was the alternator ( Read more... ) -

I just put aside 4 boxes of books to give away. This is from both of our collections. Anyone who knows me knows this is actually a very small percentage of my collection and mostly outdated science books. Near Miss
I was driving down Storrow Drive this afternoon and lost my steering ability. The car was going back and forth across the lanes and the steering wheel was having no effect... After doing two full 360 degree spins I found my car facing on coming traffic and yet I was neither hit nor did I hit the guard rail and my car happened to be facing the exit ( Read more... ) -

My car was just hit and run by a bicycle...
