a closing

I keep thinking of it as the end of a chapter in my story. I have taught my martial arts kids for the last time. Sure, I'm sad. But it was the right time. With the master's program starting in January I really wasn't sure I'd be able to keep teaching, and with Hawaii coming up I will have a break/mental transition time ( Read more... )

It's been both heartening and disheartening hearing about everything that's gone on over the years.

"And I said goodbye to the karate school before the bitter taste about it in my mouth spread to my relationship with the kids"

I'm glad to hear things are so well with the kids, and as disappointing as the outcome ended up, that the ups and downs are finally through.

it's funny... that was going through my head, but I kept thinking how the tri world is the next chapter, and how they overlapped, and then I couldn't figure out what the beginning would be next ;) Guess the mystery is part of the fun... or maybe it's a boring answer of grad school. Heh.
