i love these paintings so much! the composition and the rich colors are just gorgeous ughug. The Emperor's clothing and his face are just perfect and the little snake issss pretty insanely cute.

OH!! Gosh, these are so lovely!!
As usual I am astounded by your gorgeous handling of patterns with paint, so delicate and intricate and wonderful!!

Thanks! I tried to tone it down with this one to keep it in line with the other older paintings, which didn't have much detail work... couldn't resist those pops of red though!
