Does anyone know where I can find a really high quality copy of the song "Burn", by The Cure, on the sound track for the movie The Crow? I dunno if there's a DVD Audio copy of soundtrack out there, or maybe a remastered version of it somewhere on one of the collections, but I'd like to get my hands on it with the highest possible sound fidelity

That's where I get most of my mp3 piracy from. Lots of hits usually, of varying quality. You just have to sift until you find the one you want.

1. Find a DVD with music videos on it, then rip the music off the video.
2. If the song is played during the movie when nothing else is going on audio wise you can edit it right off the movies audio track.
3. Look for a music video on a torrent site, after downloading use a free program called Gspot, it will tell you how good the audio quality is.
Remember cd's raw format bit rate is PCM 1411.2 kbit/s total (about 320 kbps compressed MP3/AC3), so anything lower than PCM 705.6 kbit/s per channel is worse than cd quality. So you will need HQ Dolby Digital, DTS or HQ PCM to beat cd quality. If a BlueRay of the Crow is out see if there are any music videos in the extras. Ripping audio off a BlueRay disc will get you the best quality out there.
Good Luck!

I wonder what the sound from a vinyl album would be like. >.>
