Tonight I become nocturnal for a week. Studying is easier at night, there're less distractions at 4 am.

Unless you count fooling around on a laptop with wireless in the library...

So the plan is...study...exam at 8, sleep, study, exam at 8, etc...

Here's to my GPA!

So I'm in the process of pulling 3 allnighters in 4 days to take care of a viking age exam, a molecular bio/genetics exam, an analytical chem exam, and an analytical chem lab. And this thursday, I'll be flying home to New Hampshire. Saturday I'm flying to Chapel Hill, then thanksgiving Wednesday I'm flying to New Hampshire, and Sunday flying back ( Read more... )

It's halfway or more through the first semester of sophomore year at college. It's been a great semester, although not really for my grades. I don't update my journal much these days, so when I get an inspiration to, I do it. Summer's come and gone and I've got this last week at work and another free week before UNC again. This summer I was really lucky and landed with an internship at Wyeth. I find that getting up at 6:30 and getting back at 6:30 is a good experience. It makes what little free time I have all the more important and sweet. At work, I'll be doing stuff with protein and antibody folding using fluorometers and other fancy stuff in a lab.
