I awoke this morning at 3AM to the sounds of snow plowing outside my apartment building. I’m not sure what exactly was being cleared, but it was loud and went on for quite awhile. I think it is interesting that with all the news coverage of the "Chicago Marathon Meltdown" no one is questioning the sanity of people who decide that running marathons is a good idea. For several years, I have dealt with friends and family that do not understand my utter loathing for cilantro. It tastes like metal or poison…or even poisoned metal. Bleck! I'm in the middle of my exciting trip to Colorado Springs to visit Eric's family. We've hiked up a mountain (at least it was a mountain by my standards...I think Eric's family thought it was quite tame), walked over the worlds highest suspension bridge, and had lots of quality time with Eric's family. ^_ ( Read more... )
