Blue Apron #14 Salmon Pastrami on Rye with Red Cabbage & Green Apple Slaw. Where do I begin? I haven't ever eaten practically everything on this plate! Sleep and rocks
Sleep sleep sleep. We glued the rest of the rocks together this morning. I walked dogs and fasted. Not a thrilling day.

Gluing rocks
I was supposed to be home for the afternoon to work on affixing the rocks that we bought yesterday from the rock store to improve the front of the house, but I forgot that I was moving out of the corgis' house today and had dishes to wash and so on and I didn't get there until later. Tonight was the Vietnamese Bun Cha with Rice Noodles & Asian Herb Salad, which was another really big winner. I've never eaten thai basil, hoisin sauce, panko breadcrumbs, shiso leaves or mung bean sprouts, and I can't say that I've never made meatballs before, because I made them last week, but I can say that it's the first time I've make ( Read more... ) -

Saw Laura tonight at the Arclight, a film that I had somehow never seen before. Loved it, and walked out with a whole new appreciation of Dana Andrews, who is much more than just a line in "Science Fiction Double Feature." One thing I loved was how modern it looked. Yesterday I made #10, Italian Wedding Soup with Fregola Sarda & SpinachI have never made soup, I have never made meatballs, I have never eaten baby spinach, I have never even heard of fregola sarda.
