So its another new year,which, if you're like me, occurs every few months. I like the idea of the new year and new beginning, and in this spirit, I like to celebrate every new year that comes my way, the Chinese New Year, Sowain, ect. So at least if I fail at my new year's resolution, I can start right back up in February...

I went out with my friend Silver (nickname, of course) tonight. We went to the best Irish restaurant. I think I had the best beef stew I've ever had. I love that restaurant. Especially dessert...what's better than hot melted chocolate used to dip strawberries and cheesecake and brownies and poundcake...sooooo good. Especially when you don't have to pay for it. Yay for older relatives with more money! I saw the DaVinci Code today also...definitely worth seeing in my opinion.

I love Worf...the show definitely got better once he joined. But now I'm off to face the deck again...I wonder if the necessary screws are there yet for me to put together the umbrella...maybe I can re rout something through the secondary couplings if not :)

I love my mother, she's the best. I just wish she hadn't developed her current habit of throwing away boxes before everything in it is assembled...it leads to key items going missing...screws, directions...I guess I could just duct tape everything together. Well, I'm home again. I got back from visiting my brother in Roanoke over the weekend. It was not my most restful vacation ever, but it was very enjoyable!
