Mm that sounds excellent. Indonesia is supposed to have smoking restrictions in public places, I think, but most people regard the restriction the same way they regard all other Indonesian laws -- with vague interest and mild amusement.
Can't imagine many people are happy with that though. I could be wrong, but isn't smoking more condoned in England? (As in the attitude isn't "tobacco is evull here look at pictures of shriveled up lungs you gonna die!!")
I hope this law is enforced, I've been looking forward to it for months!
I think there has been some opposition from smokers, but a lot of people I know are in favour of it. I'm not sure about the general attitude towards smoking. There are health warnings on every single packet of cigarettes and we're taught about the dangers over and over again in school, but we're not as anti-smoking as some other places I think.
