Mommy Stuff: Having two kids under 3 years old
We are currently in Augusta, staying with my parents for two weeks. We came here on the same day that my mom left to go back here, mostly to spend time with my dad but also for a change in scenery. L is able to work from home from here, which is how we're able to stay for so long, and my dad spends time with the kids at night and on the weekends. ( Read more... ) -

Now here we are again. Looking down the same road. Different time & circumstance, yet everything so painfully familiar. I fear more, though; the stakes are higher. 3rd tri rant
The last few days have been stressful. Work has been busier than usual, and I've been tasked with stuff that while not impossible if I were given more time, do present a bit of a learning curve that requires me to figure out first what and how I'm going to do things, and having to do that in a short time frame is not fun. News for today
Uncle LS passed away last night. I'd known him for a long time but not really that well. He was one of my uncle's brothers in law, but their family is really close knit and all their kids (including my cousins on my mom's side) all grew up together here in California. and i am awake and felt like updating. i briefly considered playing a game, either civ 5 or maybe even skyrim, but i knew that if i did that i would end up playing til it was time to go to work, and i probably need some sleep before then. i would prob already be tired enough as it is ( Read more... ) -

there are not enough hours in the day
I really should not be using this time to update my livejournal, especially since I haven't apparently made any effort to do so in the last couple of years.
