Sat in the dentist chair today. And cried. While this is not an unusual happening, i didn't run out of their screaming (well, i couldn't because my mouth was full of guaze). But the big thing . . . .i'm going to go back! Voluntarily ( Read more... )

Well done! Overcoming this fear - or acting despite it - is difficult but so important! I hope your dentist uses the newer root canal procedures: the last one I had didn't hurt during or after (didn't even need advil afterward).

That, in itself, is a miracle. I have a lot of work to be done . . .years of fears to overcome and now pay for (literally and figuratively).

Way to go!! I'm proud of ya...and know how hard it is.

Know why I know? I didn't go for 15 years. And just today sat for the drilling out of two teeth so I can get crowns put in. I came "this close" to bolting when he explained what he was going to do!

And now I think it's time for another vicodan!
