Monday
He stared at the paper on the desk in front of him. Little words with little meaning scrabbled all over it's white surface. "stupid". "moron". "asswipe". "dipshit". "fuckface". Words and an ugly drawing to portray the brunette in front of him, with a slight frown he drew his pencil all over the paper, almost ruining the paper.
"what's the matter?" And he turned to look into brown eyes "nothing" his attention was drawn back to the paper, he was drawing a big, sloppy X over the face. His portrayeé laughed loudly and Kyuhyun's natural reaction was to, of course, mock.
"what's that about?" Sungmin's big eyes were still looking at him. All Kyuhyun did was sigh and nod his head in direction of the brunette sitting just a few seats ahead.
"it's that guy"
"oh you mean Hyukjae?" He shuddered slightly at the name before he frowned in dislike.
"yeah... "
"by god Kyuhyun you need to stop acting like a five year old. Get over it," he threw Sungmin a slight glare from the side before sighing and dropping his pen on the table. The chair squeaking lightly as he leaned back, plastering a fake smile on his lips
"happy?" and the answer he got was a perky smile and a pat on his shoulder.
Sungmin.
Sungmin was a sweet kid, a bit shorter than himself, cute, black hair, and Kyuhyun had known him forever. They went to preschool together, middle school, high school and now they were college room mates.
"see, that wasn't too bad was it now?" Kyuhyun scoffed. No maybe that wasn't bad, but seeing Hyukjae with him... that was bad. The slender boy in front of him gently pulled a hand through his hair before walking up to Hyukjae and leaning in slowly to whisper in his ear.
It made Kyuhyun sick, watching them behave like that. Watching that perfect perfect person be with that... not so perfect person.
The bell rang and he watched the perfect perfect boy walk out with that not so perfect Hyukjae. "are you coming?"
Sungmin. All he did was nod as he rose from the chair, taking the paper he had doodled on and crumpling it in his hand, tossing it hard in the bin hoping that maybe throwing the paper would bring along some of his own feelings. He felt a buzz in his pocket and picked up his phone, a smile and a sigh.
Heechul.
"why the long face? xoxo"
Kyuhyun stared at the text, what the fuck did he think.
Reply.
"It's nothing"
"wanna meet up after school, xoxo"
"aren't you gonna be with your boy?"
"nah, I wanna be with you munchilla xoxo"
"why is that?"
"beeecaause, I decide. come over to my place around six and we'll have fun my little spritzer, xoxo"
"fine."
He exhaled softly as he pushed his phone back into his pocket, a small grin spreading across his lips. Sungmin looked at him with a raised brow and a wondering face as they stopped slightly by Kyuhyun's locker.
"Uhm, I can't hang tonight... I promised to help out at home," his friend stood a few feet away staring at the floor, clenching his jaw and tensing his fists, the fit of irritation was oozing from him.
"No you're not, you're gonna be with Heechul," all Kyuhyun did was shake his head for an answer and then he sighed. The locker close with a slight thud and he walked pass Sungmin with a look of indifferent on his face. "Believe what you want"
He stared at his watch, ten past five. Why couldn't the time go faster? He knew he shouldn't get this excited, he knew he shouldn't keep doing this. He had been told countless times, most of those by Sungmin. 'It's no good' he'd say. 'You deserve better' he'd say. But Kyuhyun knew the biggest motive behind Sungmin's view on Heechul. His own infatuation on Kyuhyun. It wasn't hard to notice. He was as see through as a well... plastic wrap or something like that.
Twenty past six.
His phone buzzed.
"you can come over now if you want, I'm all alone,"
And he was on his way, his pace the fastest of all paces and his breathing growing heavier with each step.
He looked up at the building in front of him and on the third floor he saw a figure sticking his head out through a window, only waving slightly before disappearing back into the room.
Kyuhyun basically ran up the stairs and knocked on the door, room 303B.
When the door opened a smell of cigarettes and perfume hit him. But not anyone's perfume. Heechul's perfume. It drove him insane.
"come on in," it was more of an order than a request. But Heechul should know that he didn't need to command him to do anything. He did it anyway.
He had hardly gotten his jacket off before Heechul pressed his lips against his own. This. This was the best part. Heechul's mouth on his. His taste, his scent, his being.
It was intoxicating, being this close to the most perfect thing on earth. Tasting him, feeling Heechul's tongue move against his own. And his lips, his perfect lips. He was perfection, the most perfect being to walk this earth. It really wasn't that surprising that Kyuhyun wanted this perfection to himself. This creation of beauty. This Kim Heechul.
A breeze hit him as the window opened and chills formed down his spine as he pulled his pants up. He looked up at the window and saw Heechul sitting in it in naught but his boxers and a t-shirt. Slowly he walked up to the window and put an arm around Heechul's waist. He held the cigarette in front of Kyuhyun for him to breath in a pull of smoke.
"you need to go now," His dark eyes looked down at Kyuhyun, it was always like this, but nonetheless he nodded and pulled his shirt over his head.
At the doorway he turned back, just for a moment, Heechul had a sly smile plastered on his face as he blew him a kiss, winked, then closed the door. Like always.
And like always, Kyuhyun walked the walk of shame. The smell of Heechul all over him, it got to him in a way that no other did. That was why Kyuhyun was so incredibly jealous of Hyukjae. What had he done to deserve the love from the most perfect being ever. Why did he get chosen? What on earth did he have that Kyuhyun didn't?
He had to go, many times had this thought passed through the nerves in his head but it didn't make as much sense as it did now. Valentine's was... what day? Sunday.
He was gonna give Heechul the best Valentine's he'd ever had.
With flowers and chocolate and all that romancy shit. But Hyukjae. Had to go.
