Gwen and I were talking about Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series. She had watched the first two episodes of True Blood and decided to read the books instead. Book Update
I went to Borders and picked up three books: Geek Love, Water for Elephants, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. I've started reading the Jane Austen adaptation because I just couldn't wait. I took my father to see Jersey Boys last night. He loved the hell out of it. It was generally a good show. There were technical aspects that could have been better. Goddamn it!
I've been sick since Monday. I want to go home and here in the office they say don't share your illness, but they don't give us any additional sick days. What the hell am I expected to do? While I was riding the train home today I saw a sign for a suicide prevention walk and I thought ...what's the point? Since I've never believed in this every life is sacred bullshit, I have no problem putting people out of their misery.
