But Tatchan aint easy! wants to replace us (hyphens) with his dog's image! unless it's meant to mean he wanna cuddle and play with us then it's yadda tatchan!!!

Just info, Myojo July magz wrote that Ueda's dog name is "Tiko".
I think... he wrote "Pato" in his manual because at that time he wants to be Nero, so Tiko must be called as Patrasche (which in Japanese spell as Pato).

I hope this won't be confusing ^_^
