I won't say anything for fear that you all haven't read nor seen the movie.

But, I'm upset.

Way to make up half the movie.

I've heard it's pretty bad. The previews ALONE had me groaning. I knew they were going to send this one to the crapper as soon and Edward started jumping from treetops. Honestly, the previews make me embarassed to be a fan of the books. I'm almost like, "Wait, I swear, it's NOTHING like that!!!"

And seriously, the cast? Ugh.

Hahaha. Nice! On that same note, you might enjoy this: http://community.livejournal.com/twilight_book/1300810.html

The first part of it is really the only funny part but it's still darn hilarious.

Ok, as a non-reader who is totally only going to see the movie for the LULZ factor: Is this going to ruin the book for me? ie. Should I (break down and finally) read the book first, or since you know how I am about books vs. movies, will it matter? I already know what happens, i've read reviews and recaps of the books, so I know the whole story, just not from the..pen of Stephenie Meyer.

What movie was it? I hadn't heard of many books-to-movies this season.

They are talking about the new vampire movie based on the book series "Twilight". Several of my ex-coworkers raved about the books.

movies can't compare to books EVAR! of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that the movie is bad, but it sounds like this is an exception.
