I looked around this city a bit more today, did some real intense research and found it to not be anything as I had thought it to be. Mello and I had thought this place to be a place for the dead, seeing as he and I both died and ended up here somehow, yet, I found many living people. So, I am still at a loss as to why I am here

I would find having a place to stay as a pleasent thing, yes. Are you sure I wouldn't be a problem though? I can be a bit...essentric and I cannot say I am too social. Amd, to be quite honest, after being murdered by the very killer I devoted much of my ending days to finding, I am not to trusting.

Am I being cynical? I can give you some sweets to make up for it! *offers*

It is of no consequence, Sir, consider it a bond amoung fellow detectives...I understand your eccentricties...my childhood was...far from storybook....and your reluctance...as I have encountered many a back-stabbing sometimes...by the people I trusted the most...

Sweets are not necessary but appreciated...*pauses to think it over*...hmm...I am tempted...but I just had supper...what a conundrum...

I will trust you, for now, as long as I can lock my door and be assured that I will be the only one to unlock it, no keys. I will buy a lock, I do not mind this, but I require your blessing. It's not that I don't trust you, I just don't trust anyone.

Tell me, is it required for a detective's childhood to be far from ordinary? We both seem to fall under that situation. Odd...

Oh, I love sweets. They are all I eat anymore. :) Thank you for the tips...I shall consider them.

I know the top three the best, seeing as the chances of my death, and then their deaths, are very unlikely. Yet, it seems 2 of my top 3 have followed in my deadly footsteps and I only have Near left. I do hope he knows what he is doing, or he may end up here too...I do, however, know who everyone is. I used to go to the orphange from time to time...needed to look at the special projects Roger and I assigned...You know how that works, I am sure. I also need to make sure I want the top in the class to take over for me...but, now I am dead and all of that matters not. Am I right Matt?

I don't think anybody wishes to end up here...I have yet to hear anybody say it was willing. But, it's nice to see a familer face, that I didn't really talk to much in life, again. Now, if only I could get Light her and we could chat.
