Father's Day

Father's day...

Must be nice for those of us not orphans.

I am not cynical or anything...

I just wish those orphans I leave in the Wammy House didn't have to feel so...sad today.

And this year, like the last few, I am still not there to talk with them and listen to their thoughts on this day.

To those who are fathers, or have them, Happy Father's Day!

Tira feels your loneliness...

She too understands...

Family is rare. She remembers, she remembers all too well.

Do not cry, L.
Emotions blurry the mind forever.

*sigh* I wish nobody had to feel this feeling. Or if I have to, I wish I'd be the only one so everybody else would be happy. My biggest wish.

I asked a friend what it was like to have parents and he said it was like having two dark clouds looming over you for the beginning of your life. That made me sad...Why do people with family never see how precious said family is?

I won't cry...that'd be pointless...
I really do need my mind to be clear.

It's just annoying that my only chance at family was ruined because I cannot have children...I don't think there are adoption agencies here.

I am sure the orphans you speak of are in capable hands...

...though I must admit, I've never heard of this odd holiday before...a day for Fathers?

[OOC: Raidou = Relic from Pre-WWII Japan...^^;;]

I trust they are, but a caretaker isn't a father...or mother. They can only give so much.

I only know it by name seeing as I never celebrated. The idea is pretty commercial, children buy their father's gifts to express love. As commercial as it is, though, those of us excluded are quite sad on this day.

If I had anybody to give gifts to I'd make them so they'd mean more. I'd make the day count...

Yes, but in essance, some mothers and some fathers...they are not truely caretakers, it may sound slightly...foolish, but I believe that the one who delivers the attention, is one's parent.

....I see. What...an..unexpectedly cruel holiday. I'm almost glad I never saw it brought to Nippon's shores...

...Why not give it to who raised you regardless?

[OOC:Oh, I posted the icons, finally! They're kinda plain, I hope you and Raito-mun don't mind:

...That is true. But, when you're an orphan with many others and the caretakers can only give you so much attention, you tend to forget that. Though, I did have Watari. But, he's dead as well, and I can't find him again so...I'd be an orphan again. I really do wish I could check up on the orphans at the Wammy house though...

Yes, it's a bit cruel. But, it's only once a year. Unless you consider the day for mothers as well...*sigh*

[OOC: They were BEAUTIFUL! Not at all plain...they were perfect. Subtle and precious. Thank you soooooo much!!]
