Lol, can you believe I've actually never heard anything by him? I don't know about everyone else- but I feel like my day just got that much better for being introduced to his music.

I actually can believe that. I rarely come across people who know him irl, so you not having heard anything by him doesn't come to a shock..

BUT BUT BUT... I LOVE THAT YOU "feel like my day just got that much better for being introduced to his music."

Darren makes me so happy, much happier than any music/artist ever has.

it's one of my favourite songs ever. though i was listening to it when in a car accident a few years back, and refused to listen to it while driving for a year....

OMG Lauren! Damn it! I just about had a heart attack when I read "Darren Hayes" then "tribute" right after it. I went, "No! No! No!" out loud until I got to his wikipedia page.

I'm still clutching at my chest. Wow, that was a scare.

Every once in a while I have one of those moments of pure love for him where his voice kills me, and life is perfect while he's singing.

That over and over again.
And he's been doing this to me since I was about 12? Can there be anything more perfect than his songs? Maybe Savage Garden. Anyway this is pure reason to friend you.

And we all have fluffy emo moods :P

there's nothing more perfect than his songs! nothing at all.

I was only just a fan of Savage Garden as in terms of what they played on the radio - but ahhhh, ALL of his solo stuff is so beyond lovely.
