Ever since I signed up on twitter, I've always kept it private and hidden from RL!friends. But recently I've been thinking of opening it up to them. Despite my love/mostly-hate relationship with Facebook, I gotta say, I was surprisingly touched that a lot of my friends posted birthday greetings on my wall.   Even if it was just a very short "hbd!", it made me smile.  

Sad and crying over the death of someone I haven't met. My niece was here beside me as I was reading about his death, and I just needed to hold her all of a sudden. I don't know why but there's something about it, about holding a child in your arms after a tragic news, that soothes the ache in my heart ( Read more... )
