I'm no fan of any fan fiction anymore other than Harry Potter, but I know exactly what you mean with "I had to!". Reading in any form has kept me up for nights and nights already. Are you a Destiel shipper as well? :D
ohh my sister used to read tons and tons of HP fanfiction. She read this epic one for probably a couple years where harry and draco eventually ended up together and harry had a brother named connor. I never read it, but she told me every single thing about it and it seemed amazing!

That conversation with your sister sounds like sooooo many conversations between me and Le Boyfriend. Like the one we had recently about what I suspect was the same fic:
Le Boyfriend: So why were you up 'til 4 a.m. on your laptop this time? Me: *looks down* 23k Brad/Ray fic...*mumbles something about how "epic and IC" it was* Le Boyfriend: IC? Me: In character. Le Boyfriend: ...I'm torn between asking to read it and defaulting to my usual stance of "I don't want to know." It's usually better not to know when it comes to your internet *air quotes* "hobbies"
Bwahaha, I'm slowly indoctrinating him in the ways of fandom. He even knows what shipping is and has used the phrase "I ship it" more than once. Isn't it fun to corrupt our loved ones? :D
