I love short fics almost as much as I love super long epics. I love single words speaking so loudly for so many that don't need articulating because they come across so strongly in so brief a moment. Together -- the brevity of the fic and the powerful words -- I think you managed to capture a huge thing very well here that people keep writing about trying to put into words.
