Auckland tornado
If you've seen it in the news, Albany got hit by a tornado this afternoon. My family is all okay but it was close, my mum and brother were shopping in another part of the complex and left a few minutes before the tornado hit. -

Oh man
On the bus back to the station after getting back to Auckland we heard about the quake in Japan. Yesterday I helped deliver one of the three Japanese students who survived the CTV building collapse to the airport so she could go home, she would have touched down only shortly before the quake. Poor thing must think she's been cursed or something.

It's official
I've been called up to go down to Christchurch on Sunday. I'll be there 4-5 days, depending on what day they fly us back out. I doubt there will be internet down there, so you won't see anything of me until I come back home. -
Calling out to the f-list
Another earthquake hit Christchurch today around 1pm. It's bad. A 6.3, but only 5 kilometers or so deep. The damage is serious and widespread with multiple deaths. Please, pray for the city, that this is the last one and that no more people die. -
