In this emotionally based world, I thoroughly believe the thought of love is entirely misconstrued.

We base the words "I love you" off of the feelings we have for someone.

Basically, in paraphrase, we are saying "I love the way you make ME feel" or "I love the way I feel about you."

It's so self-cenetered.
