Last Friday we had a blackout in Bridgeport. I haven't been in a blackout since I was probably 10 years old. At first I thought the apartment had blown a fuse due to the A/C, TV and so on that we had on. But it turned out to be the whole block and ended up being the whole neighborhood

the blackout was fun here in pilsen.

people were running around like idiots setting off fireworks and the usual.

the best part is the reason for the blackout was over on racine and cermak, by the steak and egger. that powerstation there is what caught fire. we bought beer and harassed the news crews as they tried to cover the story.
