Matters of the heart

I have mixed emotions about many things lately.  On the happier side of things, my hard work throughout the course of the semester really paid off.  And I've gotta admit, sometimes I really surprise myself.  It seems that I pull through when the challenges seem far too great to overcome.  I think that's when we see what we're really made of --- ( Read more... )

I don't have holiday cheer either... :\. My entire family is in LA and doesnt come up. My brother is in VA and rarely gets leave... so, that leaves Mom, Dad, my sister and yours truly.. don't get me wrong, I love them, but it is hard to get in the spirit when there's only 3 other ppl to share it with.

This love thing... let me know when you figure it out. I believe that you have to take a leap of faith, you have to risk emotions and feelings in order to have a good relationship, but don't risk all that unless you are 100% sure that person is worth the risk. Love can be so great and can be so painful.

Congrats on finishing this semester, you are almost done!! :) I miss you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

You know what? I love you and I miss you dearly! I'm so ticked I missed your last visit, but I would love to grab some dinner or something the next time you're in town. I know a lot has been happening with you and I can't wait to tell you about my dr-dr-dramaaaaa ;)

Thanks for your kind words, they mean a lot. And even though we're cheerless, I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your friends and family.

You're asking a lot of the same questions I've been asking myself lately. I've been mixed emotionally as well, not because I've got choices, but because they are just passing moments and will never be what I want to be serious with.

No wait, I think what I mean to say is, Happy Christmas, first and foremost. I still have holiday cheer and I relish our X-mas(it's not a lack of spirit, just an abbreviation) light drives and dreadful excursions to the mall in the midst of the delirious insanity that Christmas shoppers possess this time of year. I think the best advice, though cliche, is to follow your heart. It's a cliche, but it is one for good reason. You jump when you know it's right and you walk away when the person is a schmuck.

I haven't really talked to anyone all day, that's why this is so long. So I hope you're feeling better, maybe my magic with your computer will work on you. Cheer up, talk to you soon.
