I do the same thing. Whenever I have extra money, I always splurge. As long as the basics are taken care of, why not enjoy life a little?

I hope things go well with your studies! Have you considered learning online? It is possible to get a university degree online (a real degree, not a fake one). I know the University of Liverpool offers MBA's, MSc in IT and possibly another degree via internet classes. I've known a few people who've taken the courses and passed. It's hard work but then all university courses are, and the quality is high. Good luck!

I didn't know there were real good-quality degrees online... Thanks for the information. Actually, I'll be studying psychology here, and maybe pass a French Lit degree by correspondance. :)
